myLot Discussions| Guitar Hero World Tour Drums Problem | | Hey gamers, have any of you experienced the drums on Guitar Hero world tour. They are really disappointing, most of my friends have the same problem as me. The cymbols on the drums have a bad sensor, when you hit it, the sensor hardly senses it so you miss the note in the game. Sometimes it works and stuff. When i checked the drums on the game. It just asked you to tap it 4 times to see if it worked. I tapped it around 8 times and here and there it picked up the tap. It is all over youtube, i do not want to take it apart and change all the stuff inside just incase, another option is a midi cable to increase the sensitivity but my friend tried and it didnt work. Do any of you guys have any options?
| | Guitar Hero World Tour | | I got this for the Xbox 360 and I must say from what I've played so far, I'm not too impressed. Playing drums on Hard is easier than Hard on Rock Band. The songs are so-so. I only played for about a half hour and I haven't used the "make your own songs." Does anyone else have this game? Are you as bored with it as me? Is the make your own song part fun? Thanks! | |
| | Guitar Hero World Tour=] | | Hey mylotters, i have just recently purchased guitar hero world tour on ps2. It is really good and enjoyable. You can play single, two, three and four player as a band. Instruments in the whole bundle is a guitar, drumkit, and microphone. You can optionally add on an extra guitar if you have another one but you only get one guitar with the bundle. There are so many songs, some of which i love: "Livin on a prayer - Bon Jovi" and "What I've Done - Linkin Park". The guitar is the easiest instrument to play, the microphone is like the singstar style of games on guitar hero where pitch does matter, though the drums are really hard to play. It requires some hard hitting and you have to hit the centre of the cymbols (shaped like semi triangle circles) which gets annoying because sometimes you miss the centre and it does not sense that you have tapped it. Overall it is a really fun game. On ps2, the guitar and drums are wireless which requires two AA batteries to work, but the microphone is wired but the cord is really long. You can also compose your own music which is pretty cool, i will probably get the notes of my favourite rock songs off the internet and play it on guitar... | |
| | Rockband 2 or Guitar Hero World Tour? | | Currently I have the first 2 Guitar Hero games for PS2. I own Rockband and Rockband 2 for Xbox 360 and Guitar Hero 3 for Xbox 360 as well. I am not sure about purchasing Guitar Hero World Tour. Is it worth it? I have considered the downloadable content for World Tour and I really like what Rockband 2 has. Is the game play any better? Tell me why you like one or the other better? And for those who have both do you play one more than the other!?Thanks | |
| | Rock Band 2 or Guitar Hero World Tour? | | Which is better? I'm talking all around game play, soundtrack, controls, etc. What is the better game?I know that the Guitar Hero drum kit has cymbals included, but the attachment cymbals for Rock Band look cooler and better for a drummer. What are your opinions? | |
| | Where is Guitar Hero World Tour? | | I want to get the Guitar Hero World Tour Band bundle for Christmas. Does anyone know where I could find it for the Wii? It's sold out everywhere and it costs a fortune on ebay. Where could I find it at $189.99 in time for Christmas? | |
| | Guitar Hero World Tour- Get Ready to Rock Out!!! | | My husband and I splurged and got Guitar Hero World tour about 3 days ago. Guitar Hero is pretty much the only video game I like to play. My husband usually didn't like playing GH with me because I play on expert all the time, and he just couldn't compete with me! Guitar Hero World Tour was the perfect solution for our dilemma! With Guitar Hero World Tour, we can both play at the same time. I like playing the lead guitar, and he likes the bass. What's really awesome about the game is that anyone can play on the level of their choosing. So our 8 year old also feels comfortable playing with us! She loves the drums and is actually doing really well with them.I like Guitar Hero World Tour much better that Rock Band 2. There's a great variety in the songs, from Michael Jackson to No Doubt. Of course it's got the great rock songs, like Korn and legands like Billy Idol. Even though we're in our 30's, we are kids at heart when it comes to this game.
So let's hear it! Anyone else give this game a try yet? How does it compare to the other group play/simulation games out there?
| | Guitar Hero World Tour | | Hi,The Guitar Hero 3 music game was a success last year. It appealed to both serious gamers, to casual gamers. However, one guitar music titles are passe. The latest sequel, Guitar Hero World Tour, lets you play as a band - lead and bass guitar, drums and vocals.
Wondering anyone here playing... please share your gaming experience here... since it's plays as a band.. so it's better to play in group right?? Happy myLotting.

| | Guitar Hero World Tour | | I am not to much into video games, but awhile back we got a Wii,(seemed so fitting....) and quite a few games, one of them beingGuitar Hero 3, which... got us interested in the newest one, similar to rock band, where not only is there the usual guitar and base as we have come to know by the name of the game, but also a karaoke aspect, and drums.Well, it czme the other day, and it is as fun as we thought, with some little bugs as expected. At near $200, it seems a little silly to receive basically, shells of game controllers that are emulating real instruments. Real instruments seem to be harder to acquire reasonably though, and learning to to play them.. gosh, how time consuming.Entertaining, weather your intoxicated, trying to clear your head, or just want the awesome feeling of pixels cheering you on as you rock out naked in your living room.. or..whatever you are into.Great track listings, and with the promise of future downloads, looks like it could be endless entertainment. The platform is a little different, as you log into your band initially, all the quickplays accrue monies. Which makes it a little easier to obtain clothing, sets that cost money, and... | |
